An individual may find it easier to express himself/herself in a different way from another.

 

Each student should have access to a number of different tools to express himself or herself and show that they have acquired knowledge from the lesson.

 

 

 

Lets say a student finds it hard to write essays due to spelling issues.

 

Why not allow this individual to use a spell checker? This way the student will feel much better expressing herself/himself through his/her writing.
