Let Me Learn
The Let Me Learn process gives learners and teachers the tools to be able to understand learning in a different way. We start to see students who were previously dismissed as being inattentive, disruptive, or difficult as valid students who simply need to learn in a different way. By slightly adjusting their teaching style, teachers found they could reach these children when the children were given a chance to express what they know in their own way.
While most of us may identify more strongly with one particular pattern than with the others, we see that each learner has a unique combination of all of these learning patterns. This means that to some extent, the four learning patterns exist in all of us. This depends on what particular task we may be performing, and how comfortable we may be performing that task. We may use one or more of these patterns at one time, depending on what is requested of us.
