A to Z

Inclusion is not an issue simple dealt with by the teacher in class, or by the school. In order to really be inclusive we must work with a number or professionals concurrently to create a team of people working with the person. Such a team would include:

 

• The class teacher

• The parents

• A psychologist

• Speech and Language therapist/physiotherapists/occupational therapists (where needed)

• Early Intervention teacher

• Doctors (where needed)

 

Together, this team will meet and work with the child to be able to see exactly what the child know, and what his/her strengths are, and from then be able to identify how to move forward.
